Q: How many tennis balls can a dog carry at a time?
Hint: We’re talking regulation size tennis balls, not dog toy balls or any other sized balls.
A: The Guinness World Record for the most tennis balls held in the mouth by a dog at one time is five.

Augie, a golden retriever owned by the Miller family in Dallas, Texas, successfully gathered and held five regulation-sized tennis balls on July 6, 2003.
Three and a half years before his record breaking success, at the age of five, Augie won the “Beggin Strips Stupid Dog Tricks Contest” at Grapevine Mills shopping mall. His prize was $500 (£325) and a six-month supply of Beggin Strips treats.
Augie then went on to win the American national competition, $5,000, and a three-night stay in New York to watch the Letterman show! Grrwwoof! That’s a lot of Balls and Bonanzas, Augie! I think I’ll leave the record to you, and won’t try this one at home.
