Another Dachshund Movie

Awoof! Following on my previous blog ’bout dachshunds in the movies, I am happy to report that Petey - a five-year old male short-haired dachshund who’s red with black brindle - barked in to let me know that there’s a dachshund that features in the Woody Allen film ‘Manhattan’.

Seems that in this movie Diane Keaton’s character keeps company with a dachshund. Which is, after all, fitting, as dachshunds large and small (but mainly small) are reputedly a favourite breed of hound amongst two-legged New Yorkers! This dachshund apparently stole hearts and minds of those making the film, as he features on their movie poster - along with the other leading characters….
