It’s been 100 years since the police services in Britain began to use dogs as aides to crime fighting. Now, to mark the place of the four-pawed in the lives of the British, the Royal Mail has introduced a series of new commemorative stamps that feature dogs in a variety of essential roles — guide dogs, search and rescue, police dogs, etc., etc.
Awoof! Go to BBC news to see the stamps online — or better yet, get thee to a post office to get your paws on the real deal.
