Q: How many dogs survived the sinking of the Titanic?
hint: This isn’t a trick question.
A: Two. Awoof!
Two dogs survived the Titanic on the 14th April 1912 by floating to safety in lifeboats that left the sinking luxury liner shortly after it hit an iceberg.

One was a Pomeranian belonging to Miss Margaret Hays of New York.
The other was a Pekinese named Sun Yat Sen that belonged to Henry Sleeper Harper, whose grandfather founded the publishing firm that is today known as HarperCollins Publishers.
