Get Thee to the Goodwoof Dog Walk!

The world-famous Battersea Dogs & Cats Home is hoping to raise money for its good-dog works by hosting a ‘Goodwoof Sponsored Dog Walk’ to take place in the private grounds of the Goodwood Estate, near Chichester, West Sussex. Awoof!

The walk — which can be 5km or 10km — will start and finish at The Kennels, Goodwood’s Private Members Club on April 20 from 10am until 4pm. (If you recall, the Kennels were the first heated Kennels of their kind).

Director of Fundraising at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, Fiona Healey-Hutchinson, said: “The sponsored walk is a chance for everyone to get out with their dog and get active. It’s a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the private grounds whilst raising valuable funds for the dogs and cats of Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.”

Battersea Dogs & Cats Home is a charity that aims to reunite lost dogs and cats with their two-legged companions, or alternatively to care for these four-leggeds until suitable companions and new homes can be found for them.
