Finally! A feel-good story to get all super-woofy about! Ananova recently reported on the story of a two-year old dachshund from China who has become a bit of a local celebrity.

The indomitable dachshund called Guai Guai runs underneath the wheelchair pushing the foot rests with his front legs.
Little Guai Guai is so small and fast that people mistake what they are seeing and think the wheelchair is motorised! His two legged companion, a certain Ms Wang of Zhengzhou, says her little doxie learned to push her father’s wheelchair when he was a puppy.
“When I pushed my father on a walk, Guai Guai would also be under the seat, two forelegs on the steps, walking with only the hind legs,” she said. “He couldn’t keep up when he was young and always stumbled. But when we took him out, he would run back again under the seat.”
Gradually Guai Guai learnt to push the wheelchair himself. Ms Wang notes that the spirited little dachshund has become so “accustomed to the sport” that “if he doesn’t get to push the chair at least once a day, he runs frantically around the house.”
SuperWoof to Guai Guai!
