Master Class Dog Training in Stockport (UK)

Are you a hound in need of a refresher course in obedience and other doggish training? (What dog isn’t, Awoof!)

Well, if you are, you’re in luck. Celebrity dog trainer Victoria Stilwell - whose name was made in the Channel 4 series ‘It’s Me or the Dog’ - will be at Pets at Home in Stockport on Thursday 14 August from 16.30 hours to give the two-legged companions of slightly unruly hounds the chance for some hands-on training techniques.

Victoria will also be helping to launch a global positioning system (GPS) that has been designed by Zoomback to work as a pet locator.

Victoria says: “Around 2,500 dogs and 3,200 cats go missing from the streets of Britain every week, so always remember that even the most obedient pet will respond more to his/her instinct than his/her owner.”

Sadly yours truly won’t be able to make the date (even though I freely admit to requiring a little more training - especially in the noise-making department), but if any of you houndish souls out there do make it to the event, please bark in and let me know how it went.
