Disney Films have a new animated adventure dog film coming out across the UK in February called Bolt. Two versions of the film will be shown - 2D and 3D!!

Bolt, whose voice is done by John Travolta, tells the story of a Hollywood dog who is mistakenly shipped out to New York.

Deluded into believing that his Hollywood ’super powers’ are indeed real, Bolt sets out on a big-time adventure in cross-country exploits. He is accompanied on his exploits by a kitten called Mittens and a hamster.

The Sun newspaper has teamed up with Walt Disney to celebrate the UK release of Bolt and are hosting a competition. The winner (who simply needs to log into the Sun website and complete the competition form) will get the chance to receive intensive dog training and maybe even the chance of becoming a big-time doggy-TV star. Woof! This could be your big-paw-break! SuperWoof!

The prized pooch will be taken under the wing of the London-based agency and undergo a day’s full training learning TV skills and tricks before enjoying a film star photo session. The lucky hound will also be featured on the agencies website and promoted for any film shoots to which it would be suited.

Bolt opens nationwide in UK in 3D on February 6th and 2D on February 13th. The Sun’s competition ends Monday January 19th.

The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association will be bringing along their very own canine superheroes to the premiere. Everyone can raise money for the charity by jumping into the shoes of Bolt’s excitable friend Rhino the hamster, in the outrageous human-sized BOLT hamster ball!
