These hand-painted art ceramic pieces makes a great gift for serious dachshund collectors. Designed and created by Anatoly Turov, in his studio located near San Francisco (USA); each piece is an individual study in form and color with Western European and Russian influences.

Turov’s ceramics are a rare discovery, appearing in collections all over North America, Europe and Asia.

There’s no doubt about it. The new ‘hip’ is now green.
One way to go green this winter — and to increase the general comfort of your home — is to do your best to stop draughts. So why not start with this sassy sausage dog-inspired draught stopper?

Geesh! Don’t know what got into me the other day. All of a sudden I just started dreaming of chairs… Wonder what old Carl Jung or Sigmund Freud would have made of that…?

This dachshund door matt may be just the thing for the muddy-footed two-legged in your life. But are such things really necessary?

But then again, are fresh cut flowers in the house really necessary either? Or kisses?!
Suppose it depends on what you consider necessary within any given context. Surely not as necessary as kisses and fresh daily water, but perhaps more necessary than a kick in the kiester!

These lamps can serve as table or floor lamps (and can be purchased on line if you follow this link).

Little feet says if she and big feet ever start up a doggie cafe she’d get a few of them to decorate the place. I think I like the blue ones, but maybe we’d get a mix of blue and purple lamps…?

We’re heading into what us dogs call ‘the Season of Mud’: rainy drizzly days, mucky wet paths, even muckier muddier wet paws and undersides upon our return back to the chateau.
So if the mud and muck is getting you and your two-legged companion/s down….

… perhaps this humourous doormat will keep you and yours smiling.

Continuing on the dining theme of our previous five ‘n dime feature: here’s a dinner bell to dine for!
Handsome cast iron outdoor bell, splendidly modelled on a fine-figured hound.
Just the thing to draw the two-leggeds and four-leggeds in from the garden, to a waiting dinner.
Is this not surely a must for those doggish souls who have, alas, almost everything?!

At last!
Now two leggeds can now enjoy dinner in style, thanks to these rather snazzy dachshund shaped knife rests.
So Archie’s Five ‘n Dime is proud to suggest the perfect gift for the feet in your life who have (almost) everything….
